BBQ with Aunt Maggie

Last weekend we went to a BBQ at my friend Maggie’s house to celebrate her boyfriend Dave’s birthday. After some morning rain it turned out to be a beautiful day. I got to visit with some friends and see my adopotive mother Patty (Maggie’s mom). It was nice to get out of the house and do some summer activities, although it hasn’t really felt like summer yet, it’s been too cold.

Chicken Little Update

Last week Phil's brother Robbie, sister-in-law Rachel and nephew Little Robbie (aka Chicken Little) came to meet the new family member. Robbie was more interested in the cat than his new cousin, but we managed to get a cute picture of the brothers and their offspring.

Baby Update

We went last week for Natalie's one month check up (a little late, but that is another story). Her Jaundice is back so we've been having to go back and forth to the hospital to have her hell poked (which she quite loudly protests to each time). Apparently this is very common in breastfed babies and can stick around for up to 3 months. The good news is that her level is going down and that we only have to go once a week to be tested (not every day like before). Also... no bili-blanket yet so that is the best news!!

Other than that, she is doing perfectly. She has gained over two pounds and grown 2 inches! My she's getting big fast. Here are her stats:

weight: 8lbs 8 oz

length: 22 1/4 inches

Sunbathing Beauty

Well, our life currently consists of eating, pooping & then sleeping...repeat. So to switch it up a little, we did the sleeping part outside on Jon & Erin's new deck. (don't worry it was under an umbrella and she was wearing sun screen mom).
